Brew Kits

Brew kits are available which allow you to brew beer, wine, or cider. Generally these kits are complete with everything you need to get started, from the fermentor to new bottles. Often video or book instruction is also included. These brew kits can be a great start for someone feeling overwhelmed by the process.

There are also varying brew kits available as far as ingredients or flavors are concerned. Some kits include malt extract or wort that you must boil before pitching the yeast. Other brew kits require less work, coming with pre-boiled wort, for example.

Generally, the quality of beer from these kits is at least as good as commercial beer, and gives you the freedom to experiment with different flavors besides. This will give you the option to find the flavor and type of beer that you really like.
