Home Beer Brewing

In general, home beer brewing is commercial brewing relocated to a domestic level. Homebrewers have the option of selecting from ingredients that almost identically mirror those in commercial brews; in addition, there are a wide variety of customized recipes available. Typically, homebrewed beer will taste stronger than its commercial counterpart.

Home beer brewing has been officially legal and tax-free in the United States since 1979, though it was really only through a clerical error that it wasn’t legal immediately following prohibition, as wine brewing was.

At present, homebrewing kits are available which usually provide all of the equipment you’ll need to get started, as well as a liquid or dry malt extract, yeast, and so on. Once you have this equipment, you will be capable of making all kinds of beers and flavors.
